Lemongrass adds height and texture to the herb garden.

Garlic chives (Allium tuberosum) bloom in the Maymont Herb Garden. They have white flowers, bloom in the late summer and have flat leaves. The Lemongrass in the herb garden has weathered the hot summer nicely. It has many culinary uses and has insect repellent properties.
